The Gryphon™ GPS4490 area imager is a full 2D presentation scanner in a compact and stylish body. This reader’s compact size makes it the ideal solution for space-constrained environments. Its adjustable stand positions the scanner for easy, intuitive reading. The stand can easily be removed if it is not needed, further reducing the overall dimensions of the scanner. Capable of reading codes from mobile phones, PDAs, and computer display screens, the GPS4400 presentation scanner also features high motion tolerance, and snappy reading and offers excellent performance on decoding poor or damaged bar codes. The Gryphon™ GPS4490 offers good-read visual confirmation with Datalogic’s ‘Green Spot’ technology as well as supporting advanced features like image/signature capture and document scanning, eliminating the need for separate equipment at the POS.

Datalogic has equipped the PowerScan 9500 series with 3GL (Three Green Lights) technology to ensure optimum good-read feedback. With the unique Green Spot visual feedback on the object you are scanning, you also have a direct visual green indicator feedback on the top and rear of the unit. All of this is accompanied with a loud beep when the operator is working in conditions where visibility is poor. The reading performance is further enhanced on models equipped with liquid lens technology for reading of combined standard, wide, and high-density codes.
In today’s warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing operations, there are a number of connectivity options available. The PowerScan 9500 series is equipped with the right technology to ensure scan data works seamlessly with your enterprise software. Depending on your network setup, it is possible to utilize serial RS-232, USB, RS-485, Ethernet, and Industrial Ethernet to assure compatibility within your scanner or cradle hardware configuration. The proprietary Datalogic STAR™ radio is a narrow-band radio that guarantees no interference with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth™ systems. Although we try to ensure you are never out of network range, the batch mode feature on the scanners saves data to internal memory when the scanner is offline or out of range.
The IP65 and IP67 industrial grade rating and the operating temperature range from -10 to 50 ºC / 14 to 122 ºF guarantee the best quality and robustness in the Manufacturing Industry applications.
